Where words end, the color continues

Half of my life I spent working as a journalist, reporting life. On a long trip to India in 2011 words started to be something like "too much" or "not enough" to express what I was looking at. That's how I started artwork, first with quick sketches in charcoal, then discovering the world of pastel and acrylic.

In 2020 I spent more and more time in Croatia. The Region Dalmatia and the town Split started to be a second home for me - and had a deep influence on my artwork, not only concerning the landscape, but also the people and the lifestyle.

In 2023 me, my man and our dog finally said goodbye to Germany and settled in Croatia, half of the time in Split, the other half on the island Solta.
